Walco has chosen Global Animal Management as our partner in our data collection offering for producers interested in age and source verifying their cattle. Tri-Merit is the system in which Global Animal Management uses to track, maintain and verify cattle records.

Tri-Merit

As a data management tool, Tri-Merit certifies traditional health processes and verifies age, source and movement of individual cattle. Tri-Merit is a Process Verified Program (PVP). A PVP is a program where specified process-verified points are supported by a documentated quality management system. Participation in the Tri-Merit PVP will allow users to certify their animals are USDA process-verified for age and source verification. In order to qualify for participation in the Tri-Merit PVP, specific requirements must be met to ensure animals are properly identified and the necessary records for these animals are maintained.
